Mirror mirror on the wall, where is the prettiest place of all?
Well, prettiest may be an exaggeration, but this place deserves a little exaggeration. Look around, you will find beautifully painted walls adorned with mirror work and cute seating. The open area has dried fallen leaves adding to its charm. The night time lights and the ambiance is mind-blowing.
This was not my first time visiting this place, actually, ever since the first time I came here, I have been blown over and swept away by its charm. Don’t worry, I am not trying to sell this place to you, it shall do that part all by itself once you step in here.
There is a really large open area for seating and an equally spacious interior. The place provides you with a large variety to choose from for appetizers, salads, main course as well as desserts and beverages. Everything is freshly made and beautifully presented. The desserts are heavenly.
We started with the butter croissant, which is a perfect option to begin with while you strategically decide what next to order. It is crispy and soft at the same time. You can actually smell the butter as it drowns you in the flavour with every bite.
From the lite bites, we ordered the Cottage Cheese Poppers with BBQ sauce. Crispy on the outside and soft inside and so yummy that words cannot describe. The BBQ sauce that comes with the poppers is really nice. We held onto it even after we had devoured our dish.
The Black Bean and Paneer Burger with Tomato salsa, Caramelized Onions, and Mango relish. The burger is slightly on the dry side due to the black beans but tasty nonetheless. If you like the sauces in your burger dripping out and cheese creating the perfect burger experience, then you may want to try something else on the menu.
The red-velvet pastry is my all-time favourite here. You cannot have just one bite; and anyone who has tried it shall vouch for it. It’s soft, creamy and delightfully delicious and always presented beautifully. It is easily their best dessert. I am short of words here because I do not think I can do justice to this amazing creation. I strongly recommend that all of you try this one.
We also tried the Strawberry Shortcake Cheesecake which was just as delectable. A shortcake base and a full blown strawberry layer on the top creating a perfect fusion of the cheesecake and shortcake experience. I am not a fan of cheesecake to be frank, but this one, I won’t mind having again.
The battle: The most difficult thing you will do here is to stand at the dessert counter and try to control the drool that threatens to drop all over the place. The second most difficult thing you shall do is select a dessert to guzzle without having a sinking feeling in your heart that you missed out on something better (which you did, not because it’s better but because all of them are amazing).
I know that when someone has all the good things to say about a place, we tend to feel its made up. But give this place a try and you shall speak these very words. If nothing else,
Go here for their mindblowing desserts!
